In the spirit of health and safety, we would like to announce our incorporation of a recently introduced air purification technology, which uses a method that sounds straight out of science fiction – Cold Plasma!

 

Cold plasma air purification uses bipolar ionization technology to proactively purify indoor air at the source of contamination. By emitting an equal amount of both negative and positive ions, a cold plasma air purifier creates an atmospheric disruption in the air, which causes the air to be its own filter. Benefits of this method include neutralizing odors, particle reduction, smoke control, and the killing of mold, bacteria and viruses.

 

Every one of the gym’s 8 commercial AC units are now equipped with these devices. By doing everything we can, our hope is to maintain a safe and healthy workout environment for our members, and therefore, the rest of Kaua’i.
